As the 2017/18 season draws to a close, ICA Sports Football Club would like to share the news of some changes to the Executive Committee ready for the 2018/19 season.

Steve Purnell (below) will move from his current role of Development Director, to replace Raphael Frascogna as Vice Chairman. Raph will focus on the footballing aspects of the Club; establishing a playing identity, how coaching is delivered and how coaching is evaluated across all teams. He will also continue to project manage the new Sports Park development.

Steve joined ICA Sports FC in October 2014 and has overseen the re-establishment of a youth football structure, the introduction of female football, supported the plans for developing ICA Sports Park and has been an invaluable pool of knowledge around FA compliance in addition to a source of enthusiasm, vigour and common sense for everyone involved in the Club.

Since Steve has joined, the Club has truly become a Community Club and I would like to personally thank him on behalf of Ces Serluca the Chairman and everyone else in the Club. I'm sure everyone will agree it is a much deserved recognition of his efforts.
