ICA Sports fully support this historic event with teams representing the club from Under-7, right up to adult level over the course of the day.
The day started with five ICA teams participating in the Under-7 Mini-Soccer tournament, then three ICA teams took part in the Under-8 Mini-Soccer tournament. Following this two Under-10 teams enjoyed a 5-a-side tournament and then two Under-11 teams took part in a Futsal tournament.
After lunch, ICA Sports firmly confirmed their position as the pioneers of female football in the Greater Peterborough area, as the only club able to raise sides to participate. ICA Sports entered Under-9 (three teams), Under-10 (two teams), Under-11 (one team) and Under-12 (two teams) girls-only section of the fun-day with a gathering crowd enjoying an impressive display of girl’s football.
The day finished with an Adult 6-a-side tournament, in which ICA Sports finished as Runner-Up.
A very proud day for ICA Sports with the club badge highly visible from start to finish.
Our thanks go out to Peterborough FA for a very enjoyable day for everybody concerned at ICA.
