ICA Sports are delighted to link up with leading coaching company Key Sports to provide more footballing opportunities for girls in Peterborough

We're delighted to have formed a working arrangement with ICA Sports and our coaches look forward to benefitting from the club's vast knowledge and experience in girls football.

ICA Sports FC boasted a thriving female football set-up with teams at every age from Under 8 to Under 14 in addition to a successful senior ladies side, who have reached two cup finals this season.

ICA Sports FC is strongly committed to developing young talent and have run a series of indoor taster sessions in recent weeks. Those sessions – which are open to girls aged between five and 11 - will now move outdoors in conjunction with Key Sports to the Nene Valley Community Centre in Candy Street.

They take place from 9am to 10am on Sundays, starting this weekend (April 22), and will run under the SSE Wildcats Girls Football Centres banner.

ICA Sports FC vice chairman Steve Purnell said:
"We have been passionate about the development of girls' football in Peterborough for several years and we're very proud of the work we have done in that time.

Not only do we provide extensive playing opportunities locally, our players and their families also receive a host of additional benefits through our proud link as a sister club of Arsenal Women.

We're delighted to be working with Key Sports over the coming weeks and the timing of our first session could not be better as it comes at the start of the FA's Girls Football Week.”

The new sessions are aimed at beginners who are new to football and offer the chance to develop basic skills in an engaging and enjoyable environment. They will be led by FA-qualified coaches from both ICA Sports FC and Key Sports and each session costs £3.
