At ICA Sports Football Club we hold Safeguarding Children as one of our key priorities and we will act swiftly should we suspect that the safety of children has been compromised.
We are making our recruitment process more robust and moving forwards we will be ensuring ALL VOLUNTEERS at the club have an in date enhanced FA CRC (Criminal Records Check).
But what is classed as a volunteer?
Below is some clarification on what we class as Volunteers:
Team Support Volunteer:
A person who regularly (monthly or more often) helps with set-up/breakdown of a pitch, fetch orcarry team equipment.
Criteria Required: In-date Enhanced FA CRC (£10)
Team Coaching Volunteer:
A person who provides instruction to a player (including your own sibling/child/grandchild). This includes helping to warm players and gather balls etc.
Criteria Required: In-date Enhanced FA CRC (£10) & Safeguarding Children qualification (£25)
