Co-Manager Frascogna commented:
"The season has been somewhat of a learning curve for our new squad but we have shown steady progress since August, when we ended the month rock bottom of the table with only one win and 7 losses from our opening 8 matches.
"We have been improving and gaining more points with each subsequent month and have now moved up to 11th in the table, with a game in-hand over three of the five sides below us and just one point away from Ketton in 9th.
"Whilst the improvement has been encouraging we are still way off where we want, expect and need to be in the PDFL Premier Division table; which is why I was delighted that the experienced Raff Mazzarella (Mazz) agreed to join our management team.
"Mazz, Waytey and I decided that with 9 games left this season, we really needed to start looking at different options for those matches and seeing which members of the squad have the adaptability and nous we need to try and mount a title challenge next season.
"We shuffled the pack a bit for this game and although there were clearly some cobwebs that needed blowing away from the Christmas break, we came away with the victory and scored 5 goals for the second consecutive game.
"It wasn't a vintage performance by any stretch but we secured three points to give us a little breathing space away from the bottom of the table.

"Aside from an away fixture to Polonia, all of our remaining 8 matches are against teams above us in the table and aside from Stamford Lions at home, they're all away fixtures too so it's going to be a tricky end to the season but one we are looking forward to.
"We will continue to use the remaining matches of this campaign to look at players in different positions and this week away to a strong Peterborough Sports Dev side will be no different".
The Azzurri travel to Peterborough Sports FC Development in their next PDFL Premier Division fixture, 2pm kick-off on 12th January 2019. Click here for more details.
